Who is responsible

Liftwell Consulting is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. We are a remote consulting business based in Mandeville, Manchester, Jamaica.

For privacy questions or requests, email start@liftwellconsulting.com or call +1 876 891 4030.

This notice covers our public website, service enquiries and appointment booking. Client engagements may involve additional information and arrangements explained separately.

Information we receive

When you enquire, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, email address, business name and what you would like to improve. A phone number is optional on our lead forms. We also receive your related messages and appointment details if you book a conversation.

Providing these details is voluntary, rather than a legal requirement. Fields marked as required are needed to complete the particular form. Without a way to contact you, we cannot respond.

Please keep the business question to general information. Do not include passwords, identification documents, bank or card details, health information, or private details about staff or customers.

How we use it

We use your information to respond, arrange the conversation you requested, understand your enquiry and discuss an appropriate next step. We keep related correspondence so we can follow the enquiry through.

When processing is necessary to take steps you request towards a service agreement, we rely on that basis under Jamaica's Data Protection Act. We also use relevant business contact information for our legitimate interests in handling enquiries and keeping proportionate business records, while considering your privacy rights. Legal obligations or legal claims may require some records to be retained.

An enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter or give permission for unrelated marketing. You can ask us to stop following up at any time. Where a separate activity relies on your consent, you can withdraw that consent.

Services involved

  • Vercel hosts our main website and provides aggregated website usage statistics and technical services.
  • HubSpot hosts our enquiry landing page and stores form submissions and related contact records.
  • Meta handles a Facebook enquiry form if you choose to submit one. Your submitted details become available to Liftwell and can be stored in HubSpot. With your marketing-cookie permission, Meta Pixel also receives website activity for advertising measurement and related uses described below.
  • Cal.com handles appointment booking, with Google Calendar used to add appointments and Google Meet used for the conversation.
  • IONOS provides incoming email routing for our business domain. Google services are used for business email correspondence.

If you choose a WhatsApp contact link, WhatsApp also processes your message through its service.

We do not sell your enquiry details. We use them for the purposes in this notice and share them with relevant service providers or where required by law. Access to enquiry records is for handling the enquiry and related business administration.

Liftwell works from Jamaica. Our HubSpot account hosts contact data in the United States East region. Other providers operate internationally and may process information in the United States and other countries where they or their service providers operate. Information is therefore not necessarily stored only in Jamaica. Contact us for more information about a particular service or transfer.

The providers explain their own processing in their privacy notices: Vercel, HubSpot, Meta, Cal.com, IONOS, Google and WhatsApp.

Cookies and website information

Our main website uses Vercel Web Analytics for aggregated statistics about visits and use of its features. These can include the page viewed, referring page, approximate location, browser and device type. Vercel uses a request-based identifier rather than third-party tracking cookies for this service. The visitor identifier is discarded after 24 hours. This measurement is separate from the enquiry details you choose to send us.

Website hosts and the external form, booking and messaging services may also process technical information needed to deliver and protect their services, such as IP addresses and request logs. Their cookies and privacy controls can differ from those on our main website.

Optional Meta measurement. If you allow marketing cookies, Meta Pixel can collect page visits and selected interactions, such as clicking a booking or contact link. This can include page and referring addresses, IP address, browser and device information, and cookie or advertising identifiers. Meta may associate this activity with information it holds to measure advertising, improve delivery and personalise advertising and other content. A booking-link click is not treated as a completed appointment.

On our main website, optional Meta measurement stays off until you choose Allow marketing cookies. Choose Reject marketing cookies to keep it off, or use Cookie settings in the footer to change your choice later. We remember the choice in this browser for up to 180 days, where browser storage is available. Changing the choice stops future optional tracking in that browser; it does not erase information already received. Vercel's cookieless aggregate statistics remain separate.

Our HubSpot enquiry page has its own cookie banner and Cookie settings control. Make your choice there separately. You can still request a conversation and use booking links without accepting optional marketing cookies. Browser privacy settings or blocking scripts may affect some services.

See Vercel Web Analytics privacy information, Meta's privacy policy and Meta Business Tools Terms for their processing and choices.

How long we keep enquiry records

We keep an ordinary enquiry for up to 12 months after the last substantive contact about it. We then delete or anonymise records we control unless an active proposal, client engagement, legal obligation or legal claim requires longer retention. We review those exceptions rather than keeping them indefinitely by default.

Providers may retain their own technical records or backup copies under their terms and legal obligations. Additional recordkeeping arrangements for client work are addressed separately.

The 12-month enquiry schedule is separate from Meta's retention of website event information. Meta's Business Tools Terms allow event-data retention for up to two years. You can contact us about a privacy request and use Meta's own privacy controls for information it holds.

Your choices and rights

Contact start@liftwellconsulting.com to ask what personal information we hold, request access or correction, or ask us to stop a use. You can request deletion where the law provides that right. We may need enough information to confirm your identity before releasing or changing a record.

Some requests are subject to legal limits or recordkeeping duties. We will explain any applicable limit when responding. You can also raise a concern with Jamaica's Office of the Information Commissioner.

Changes to this notice

We will update the date when this notice changes. We will seek consent before a new use where consent is required.
